2021 Jeep Gladiator Trim Levels
Discover What Each Model Has In Store!
The 2021 Jeep Gladiator is one of the most iconic light-duty pickup trucks on the market. Its likeness to the Jeep Wrangler makes it instantly recognizable on the road, and it offers the kind of versatility that you really can't get anywhere else. The Gladiator is perfect for getting tough jobs done like hauling and towing, but it's also built for fun and exploration with the ability to tackle off-road trails. It even features the same removable doors and soft-top roof found on the Wrangler, so you can fully embrace your surroundings and unlock your adventurous spirit. For the 2021 model year, the Gladiator is available in four main trim levels, with an array of supplementary sub-trims that add even more variety to the collection. To learn more about what the Gladiator is bringing to the table for 2021, continue reading below!
Sport
The Sport trim level has the option of two available engines, either the standard 3.6-liter V6 or the 3.0-liter diesel V6. The gas V6 provides 285 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque, while the diesel bumps it up to 260 horsepower and 442 lb-ft of torque. With the diesel, the Gladiator's maximum towing capacity is 7,650 pounds, and its maximum payload is 1,600 pounds. The Sport also features standard 4-wheel drive, an easy wash-out interior cabin with drain plugs in the floor, and underbody skid plates. It comes with a 5-inch digital display, and a soft-top roof to swap out for the hard top.Â

Overland
The Overland trim level adds a bit more comfort and convenience to the Gladiator in comparison to the Sport. It features powered windows and door locks, a larger 7-inch Uconnect touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and satellite radio. It also has a leather-wrapped steering wheel and tinted glass on the rear windows, both of which lend the Overland a more upscale look and feel. Lastly, its 18-inch wheels give the Overland a more commanding presence on the road.Â

Mojave
The Mojave is one of the Gladiator's two off-road focused models, and has been specifically designed to excel on sandy terrain. As the name would suggest, the Mojave is perfect for desert environments, as well as beaches and dunes. In place of the typical Jeep Trail Rated Badge, it has a Desert Rated Badge instead, and includes specialized features such as FOX shock absorbers, a wider track, a reinforced frame, and an electronic locking rear differential.Â

Rubicon
Last but not least, the final trim level in the Gladiator's 2021 lineup is the Rubicon. Like the Mojave, this model has specialized off-roading equipment, but this time it's best suited for wooded trails and rocky landscapes. The Rubicon features the classic Jeep Trail Rated Badge, signifying its expertise in feats like water fording, articulation, and maneuverability. The Rubicon also features FOX suspension components, 33-inch all-terrain tires with high-clearance fender flares, Selec-Speed Control, and an Off-Road+ button.
