The 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee L models offer buyers a choice of two powerful, fuel-efficient engines.
The first is the all-aluminum 3.6-liter Pentastar V-6 engine, rated at 290 horsepower and 257 lb-ft. of torque. This engine utilizes 60 degree cylinder banks to deliver exceptionally smooth power over the full power band. The engine features chain-driven dual overhead camshafts with two-step variable valve lift and variable-valve timing (VVT) for the best balance of performance and fuel economy.
