What is the 2022 Grand Wagoneer's Powertrain?

The Grand Wagoneer achieves its commendable athleticism thanks in part to its robust standard powertrain. Each of the Grand Wagoneer's four trim levels features a 6.4-liter V8 engine paired with an energy-efficient TorqueFlite 8-speed automatic transmission. 4-wheel drive is standard across the board for the Grand Wagoneer lineup, with the various trim levels featuring the Quadra-Trac I, Quadra-Trac II and Quadra-Drive II 4X4 systems. There's also standard Quadra-Lift Air Suspension on the Series I trim level, helping the Grand Wagoneer ford up to 24 inches of water thanks to its 10-inch maximum ground clearance. For those looking to amp up the adventure even further, there's an available Advanced All-Terrain Group which equips the Grand Wagoneer with additional off-roading features like skid plates, front tow hooks, and a two-speed transfer case. 

What are the Grand Wagoneer's Design Features?

The Grand Wagoneer has an iconic exterior that presents a modern twist on a classic aesthetic. Upper trim levels feature distinctive 22-inch polished wheels that add to its strong road presence, and the windshield is made from acoustic laminated glass that reduces noise on the interior. There's also available color-tinted glass that's both stylish and functional, as well as an available tri-pane panoramic sunroof. Inside, the Grand Wagoneer offers either captain's chairs or a bench seat for the second row, seating either seven or eight passengers in total. Its upholstery starts out with standard Nappa leather, which is upgraded to premium quilted Palermo leather on the higher trim levels. It also offers a highly impressive standard safety package, including features like blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, active lane management, automatic emergency braking, and many more.

In terms of technology, the Grand Wagoneer's offerings are highly advanced. The dashboard features a Uconnect 5 infotainment system with a standard 12-inch touchscreen.
