What engine powers the Grand Cherokee?

The huge benefit of getting a Jeep is that power is most definitely no problem. In fact, there are four different engines that are offered with the 2021 Grand Cherokee. The base engine is a 3.6-liter V6, which outputs around 295 horsepower and up to 260 pound-feet of torque. Next up is a 5.7-liter V8 engine, which generates 390 pound-feet of torque and around 360 horsepower. When you opt for the SRT trim, along with it comes a 6.4-liter V8, which creates 470 horsepower and up to 475 pound-feet of torque. The final engine that we are discussing comes standard with the Trackhawk trim, and is a supercharged 6.2-liter V8, which can get you around 707 horsepower and up to 645 pound-feet of torque. All of these engines get an eight-speed automatic transmission! You'll also be able to choose from rear- or all-wheel drive, depending on your needs.

What standard and available features are available?

The very first thing we want to say is that there are a lot of different trim levels to choose from. The base trim, called Laredo, comes with blind-spot monitoring, keyless ignition and entry, a seven-inch touchscreen, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, a 6-speaker audio system, rear parking sensors, dual-zone automatic climate control, and 18-inch wheels. The Limited trim comes in with auto-dimming mirrors, a power liftgate, heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, a sunroof, power-adjustable front seats, and an 8.4-inch touchscreen. For all of your off-roading needs, Trailhawk gets you underbody skid plates, an upgraded audio system, all-terrain drive modes, heated rear seats, special leather, heavy-duty engine cooling, an electronically controlled limited-slip differential, and all-terrain tires.

What driver assist features will I find?

Beyond just power and comfort, Jeep makes sure that the Grand Cherokee will keep you and your passengers safe. Some of the standard safety features include rear cross-traffic alert, blind-spot monitoring, and rear parking sensors. Throughout the rest of the lineup, you'll find features like adaptive cruise control, parallel parking assist, forward collision mitigation, and lane departure warning. You will always feel safe when you're behind the wheel of the 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee.
